We Not Me
“Good teams become great ones when they sacrifice the ‘me’ for the ‘we.'” — Phil Jackson, renowned basketball coach
At Bowden House and Bowden Primary, ‘We Not Me’ is at the heart of our school ethos. It reflects our commitment to working together, supporting one another and creating a strong sense of community across our school.
‘We Not Me’ encourages everyone to think about how their actions can have a positive impact on those around them. It can be as simple as holding a door open, showing kindness, helping someone, sharing resources or celebrating another person’s success.
We see Bowden House and Bowden Primary as one school and one community. We believe that by working together, looking out for one another and putting the needs of the wider team at the centre of school life, we can achieve more together than we can alone.
